The OPUS 21 project, coordinated by the SOLARIS researcher, received funding from the National Science Center.

The Coordinators of the Disciplines of the National Science Center presented the ranking lists of projects qualified for funding under the competitions announced by the National Science Center. The laureates include a consortium of four universities, led by prof. dr hab. Maciej Kozak.

The OPUS 21 project, coordinated by the SOLARIS researcher, received funding from the National Science Center.

The project entitled "Molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases - the influence of selected metallic nanoparticles", submitted in the OPUS 21 competition, received a grant of PLN 2,632,394.

The consortium includes: Faculty of Physics, University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań (leader), the National Synchrotron Radiation Center SOLARIS of the Jagiellonian University, the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Nuclear Physics. Henryk Niewodniczański of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
