The second meeting of the SOLARIS Industry Day series is already behind us!
In the first days of June, the SOLARIS Centre together with the Silesian NANO Cluster, the Foundation for Supporting Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies NANONET, organized the second meeting in the "SOLARIS Industry Day" series. Once again, we hosted users from the industrial world. This time the meeting was focused on discussing the possibilities of conducting research and development works and the development of innovation in the industry of advanced materials and nanotechnology with the use of synchrotron radiation.
A one-day workshop
The meeting was held in the form of free, one-day workshops. The participants of the meeting were representatives of the nanotechnology and nanomaterials industry.
During the workshop, research techniques available at the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre and at partner units, their areas of application, and access options to the center's infrastructure were discussed.
Participants had the opportunity to see with their own eyes the synchrotron infrastructure and cryomicroscopes, which are part of the SOLARIS Center, talk directly with the managers of research lines and ask any questions that bother them. During the meeting, a lot of time was devoted to networking and exchange of experiences.
