Professor Lidia Morawska visited the SOLARIS Centre during her visit to the Jagiellonian University.

The visit, organized jointly with the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science JU, was aimed at presenting the only synchrotron infrastructure in Poland. Lidia Morawska is a world-renowned professor at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia

The SOLARIS Centre was awarded the title of Career Inspirer 2023 in the International Cooperation category.

The SOLARIS Centre was the winner of a competition organised by the Work and Career Institute Foundation. The statuette from the hands of Paweł Abucki, President of the Work and Career Institute Foundation, was received by Michał Młynarczyk, Deputy Director of NCPS SOLARIS. The award was given for cooperation within the Erasmus+ project.
CIRI beamline installed a new microscope.

Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp has completed the installation of the mIRage-LS, Submicron Multimodal (IR+Raman+FL) microscope on the CIRI beamline in SOLARIS Centre, which features submicron imaging and IR + Raman spectroscopy combined with wide-field fluorescence imaging capabilities.
