Installation of XMCD beamline

In May 2019, the first devices (the so-called front end) of the beamline with the working name XMCD were installed in the SOLARIS synchrotron tunnel.

Joint ARIES Workshop

Today the ARIES (Accelerator and Innovation for European Science and Society) workshops on diagnostics in electron and hadron accelerators have ended. SOLARIS was the event organiser.
Cryo-EM Consortium Meeting

Following the Ministry of Science and Higher Education's decision to grant financing of the Cryo-EM microscope and as a result of the decision to establish the National Electron Cryomicroscopy Center in SOLARIS, on March 1st 2019 a meeting of eighteen partners of the Cryo-EM consortium was held.
Baltic Tram - summary of the project

The SOLARIS Centre for two years carried out the international Baltic TRAM project (Transnational Research Access in the Macroregion). The aim of the project was to enhance bonds and cooperation between research institutions and the world of business. The project was implemented in the countries of the Baltic Sea region, including Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
