On 1st January 2019, the European Horizon 2020 project BEAmline for Tomography at SESAME (BEATS) was launched with the objective to design, procure, construct and commission a beamline for hard X-ray full-field tomography at the SESAME synchrotron in Jordan.

SOLARIS synchrotron with new beamline

On 18th December 2018 a trilateral agreement was signed between the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre, the University of Applied Sciences Hochschule Niederrhein, Germany, and the Synchrotron Light Research Institute in Thailand. The goal of the consortium established by the agreement is to design and produce components and software for a new beamline and its research end-station.
