The visit, organized jointly with the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science JU, was aimed at presenting the only synchrotron infrastructure in Poland. Lidia Morawska is a world-renowned professor at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia
The SOLARIS Centre was visited by Prof Lidia Morawska and Dr Zbigniew Inglot. The visit, organized jointly with the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science JU, was aimed at presenting the only synchrotron infrastructure in Poland. Lidia Morawska is a world-renowned professor at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia and an adviser to the World Health Organisation (WHO). In Krakow, she was a guest lecturer at the Copernican Congress. Dr Zbigniew Inglot, on the other hand, is CEO at INGLOT and also a member of Jagiellonian University's Academic Council. The delegation, accompanied by Prof. Ewa Gudowska-Nowak, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science, was welcomed by the SOLARIS management composed of Ph.D. Jakub Szlachetko, Prof. Marek Stankiewicz, MSc. Michał Młynarczyk, Ph.D. Tomasz Wróbel.
