Call for proposals is extended.

We invite you to submit applications for access to the SOLARIS Centre research facilities. Deadline to submit for proposals is October, 5th, on 12:00 (noon) CET.
A member of the SOLAIR beamline team, 2021 William G. Fateley Award Recipient

We are very pleased to announce that the recipient of this year's William G. Fateley Student Award is Paulina Kozioł, a member of the SOLAIR beamline design group. The award, sponsored by The Coblentz Society and the Fateley family, recognizes one student for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of vibrational spectroscopy. The winner is awarded at the annual SciX conference presented by FACSS. The award was established in 2010 by family members of William Fateley and his former group members to honor his life dedicated to the development of spectroscopy and to promote the advancement of students in their research careers.
CERIC-ERIC call for proposals now open

CERIC-ERIC, Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium, offers access to more than 50 complementary instruments and two support laboratories, for multidisciplinary research in all fields of materials science and nanotechnology. There are two deadlines: September 1st, 17hs CET and
September 30th, 17hs CET.
Installation of the PolyX beamline front-end

The installation of PolyX beamline front-end has been completed. It was delivered to SOLARIS Centre on 25th June 2021. Front-end is a key element of every synchrotron beamline. It consists of a set of devices which allow to transport synchrotron radiation beam from bending magnet in storage ring to the experimental hall.
