Infrared Nanoscopy on Biological and Polymer Nanomaterials- open registration for workshops

SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre is pleased to announce the free „Infrared Nanoscopy Workshop on Biological and Polymer Nanomaterials”, which will be organized together with the Neaspec company on 24th-26th of April 2024 in our Centre. The main topic of the workshop is related to the capabilities of Infrared nanospectroscopy (s-SNOM, nano-FTIR, AFM-IR) in studies on nanometric structures, including biological and polymeric nanomaterials.

The workshop will offer:

lectures on research conducted using Infrared spectroscopy techniques (given by i.a. prof. Kamilla Malek (Jagiellonian University), prof. Szczepan Zapotoczny (Jagiellonian University), prof. Tomasz Kobiela (Warsaw University of Technology)),
tour of the SOLARIS Centre,
live demonstration using the neaSCOPE spectrometer (Neaspec company),
poster session,
test measurements of the participant samples.

Please note that the number of places is limited and prior registration is required.
