The MX end station is designed for X-ray diffraction studies of proteins, nucleic acids and small molecules. In addition to standard diffraction experiments, this beamline will offer future users a variety of tools and enhancements to personalize experiments and obtain high-quality XRD data. The experimental station will be equipped with a modular diffractometer, allowing for an easy change of the sample environment (low temperature attachments, high pressure chambers), a sample storage dewar and the robotic autosampler, as well as a high-class detector with a minimum resolution of 4Mpx.
