The Chemical Laboratory provides equipment for basic and advanced chemical synthesis, particularly in the fields of organic, inorganic, and materials chemistry.
The laboratory provides suitable conditions for the safe handling of chemical reagents and organic solvents. The equipment includes, among others, a fume hood and a glovebox enabling experiments requiring an inert argon (Ar) atmosphere. Sample preparation and purification are supported by a rotary evaporator, vacuum oven, magnetic and mechanical stirrers, an ultrasonic cleaner, a vortex mixer, and pH meters. The laboratory also provides a cabinet for the storage of chemical reagents, equipment for material forming, including a pellet press, as well as analytical balances, refrigeration equipment, and other auxiliary equipment supporting routine experimental work.
