Our Ph.D. Programme in Biomedical Sciences is an international English based programme of the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a strong interdisciplinary, international, inter-sectoral research and training dimension. PhD Programme is lead by the Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology (MCB) along with Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics (JCET) and SOLARIS.

Last Friday 13.05.2022, the SOLARIS Centre hosted the first of a series of meetings dedicated to users from the world of industry. This time the meeting was dedicated to Cryo-EM technique. Throughout the day, our and invited specialists introduced participants to the basics of this modern research technique.

On April 24, 2022, we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the first synchrotron light observation. To celebrate the special day, we go back in time to the beginnings of the Solaris Synchrotron to recall those exciting moments and milestones in the development of the Centre.
