Scientists from the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre (Kraków, Poland), the University of Exeter (UK), Beckman Institute (the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - USA), and the Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (Kraków, Poland) performed research that will facilitate the rapid and automated diagnosis of esophageal cancer.

The prestigious journal ‘Analytical Chemistry’ (IF: 6.785) has recently published a paper written by the SOLARIS team and titled ”Macromolecular orientation in biological tissues using a four-polarization method in FT-IR imaging”.

The recent volume of “ACS Nano Letters” presented the results of research conducted at the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre and at the Academic Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology of the University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

The first scientific article with the results of measurements carried out in SOLARIS was published in a prestigious Nature Research journal "Scientific Reports".
