New SOLARIS NSRC Report 2023–2024 now available in print!

The annual report summarizing the activities of the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre for the years 2023–2024 is now available in both print and electronic versions. The publication highlights key scientific achievements and the development of the Centre’s research infrastructure. It provides information on the research conducted, technologies implemented, and international collaborations that have contributed to the further advancement of Polish science.

The SOLARIS Centre invites you to the next Seminar of the Scientific Department. On March 19, 2025 (Wednesday), we will have the opportunity to learn about the research conducted by Dr. Dawid Pinkowicz, Professor JU, from the Faculty of Chemistry and his team members Dominik Dzierżek, Wiktor Wolański, and Dr. Michał Magott, who will discuss their research on molecular materials. The lecture will take place in the conference room of the NCPS SOLARIS at Czerwone Maki 98 at 2:00 PM. We warmly invite you!

French Tech Connect: A Bridge-Building Technology Event Connecting Poland and France

On 11 March, the annual French Tech Connect event took place at the Fabryczna 13 CKF_13 Conference Centre in Kraków. Organised by La French Tech Kraków, the event aims to strengthen business cooperation between Poland and France. Among the more than 300 participants were many top-level executives. Dr Mikołaj Gołuński, an industry cooperation specialist, represented the National Centre for Synchrotron Radiation SOLARIS.

Researchers from the SOLARIS Centre winners of the M-ERA.NET Call 2024

The National Science Centre has announced the list of laureates of the M-ERA.NET Call 2024 competition. We are proud to share that the GREEN-MEM project, "Green materials for sustainable magneto-electronic memories," is among the awarded initiatives. The Polish team is led by Dr. Eng. Anna Mandziak from the SOLARIS Centre. A co-author of the project is Dr. Paweł Nita from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Science at Jagiellonian University.
